On June 14, 2025, the 2025 Graduate Commencement Ceremony of the Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property (SICIP) was grandly held in Room 1002 of the Zhonghe Building at Tongji University.
Attending the ceremony were Qin Wenzhong, Secretary of the College Party Committee; Dang Jianwei, Acting Excutive Dean; faculty members; more than sixty graduates; and family and friends of the graduates.
The ceremony was hosted by Lin Min, Deputy Party Secretary of the College.
As talents with global vision, understanding of international rules, and the capability to participate in international affairs, the graduates of our College will now embark on their journeys and make important contributions in intellectual property–related positions, becoming a driving force in the development of international IP.
Dang Jianwei, Acting Excutive Dean, delivered a speech on behalf of the College, extending congratulations to all graduates.
He noted that the College, leveraging Shanghai's international advantages and aligning with the University's core strategy of "AI+" has built an interdisciplinary platform, gathered top global faculty, and trained a large number of compound talents who combine international competitiveness with national commitment.
He reviewed the milestones of the Class of 2025 and praised their outstanding achievements in research, competitions, and international exchange. As graduation marks a moment of parting, he conveyed his hopes for the graduates, wishing that they shine brightly in every corner of the world.

Liu Di, Class Advisor of the 2022 WIPO Class, delivered a speech as the faculty representative.
With the message "perceive the big picture from the small, uphold integrity and await your time," he encouraged graduates to seek truth in details and to maintain principles amid a changing era.
He emphasized that intellectual property serves as the bridge between innovation and institutions, and that at a time when the nation increasingly values innovation, IP graduates are an important force for driving social progress.
He expressed his hope that graduates remain true to their original aspirations and enjoy bright futures.
