On March 18, 2013, Valancia University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Silvia Barona Vilar and professor Carlos Esplugues Mota visited Tongji Law School. Professor Shan Xiaoguang, Dean of Tongji Law, Professor Song Xiaoting, deputy Dean and Professor Gao Xujun, director of international  office met Professor the delegation. Both sides introduced respective university and school.

Professor Mota also gave two lectures to Tongji Law students and made discussion with the students present.
