From May 27 to 30, 2019, under the leadership of Deputy Prof. Jiang Nan, the Deputy Chairman of College Council, SICIP, Ms. Kong Weijia, Mr. Han Xingchen, and 44 Chinese and foreign students from WIPO-Tongji MIP in Design and B&R MIP went to the China Intellectual Property Training Center (CIPTC) and China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) to carry out learning and training activities.

On May 28, Mr. Yang Chengrui, the Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department of CNIPA, welcomed the arrival of the teachers and students. The staff from the Protection and Coordination Department of CNIPA gave lectures on China's national intellectual property strategy, China's intellectual property protection and enforcement, and China's patent administrative protection. The staff of the Patent Administration Department of CNIPA gave a detailed introduction to the relevant information and development status of the Chinese patent examination system and CNIPA.

On May 29, the teachers and students visited the CNIPA. The staff of the business management hall introduced the patent application, examination process, and the public service system in detail. The teachers and students also visited the automation control center of the Patent Office and the exhibition hall of intellectual property to learning about the patent data storage and monitoring system in China. On May 30, under the arrangement of the staff of CNIPA and CIPTC, the teachers and students came to the Zhongguancun Intellectual Property Building and visited the intellectual property agencies and law firms, such as Sanyou Intellectual Property Agency Ltd. and Unitalen Intellectual Property Agency Co., Ltd.
