On July 26, 2019, the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Secret Protection Seminar" jointly organized by SICIP of Tongji University and China Traditional Chinese Medicine Association was held at the Zonghe Building of Tongji University. Mr. Shen Nuo, the Deputy Secretary-General of the China Traditional Chinese Medicine Association, Mr. Wang Taiqin, Researcher of the Department of Science and Technology of the China Traditional Chinese Medicine Association, Prof. Feng Xiuyun, comes from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Mr. Huang Qinghua, a researcher of China Development Institute, Associate Prof. Wang Hua of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Mr. Wang Huijun, the Director Assistant of Chinese Medicine Research Office of Shanghai Pharmaceutical Group, as well as Prof. Song Xiaoting, Associate Prof. Yang Hong, Associate Prof. Cao Lirong, Associate Prof. Jiang Li, and some master students and Ph.D. students of SICIP, attended the seminar.

Mr. Shen Nuo introduced the overall development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry and existing problems in China. Prof. Song Xiaoting introduced the basic path of technical secret protection in China's traditional industries under the rules of international trade. Ph.D. student Qi Liwen introduced the current legal situation and the dilemma of technical secret protection. At the meeting, experts and scholars discussed the problems and legal needs of China's traditional Chinese medicine industry in international trade.
