From July 22 to 26, 2019, Prof. Jiang Nan, the Deputy Chairman of College Council, SICIP, Prof. Ren Shengce, Mr. Pan Huibin,Mr. Han Xingchen, and 15 graduate students were invited to The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the City University of Hong Kong and Macao University of Science and Technology for summer academic communication. The event was hosted by the Intellectual Property Education Communication and Research Center of Tongji University and supported by Kaisa’s Hong Kong and Macao Intellectual Property Education Fund of Tongji University.

On the morning of July 23, 2019, the delegation visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong. In the afternoon, at the invitation of Kaisa Group, the delegation had a high-level discussion with the group. On July 24, the delegation visited City University of Hong Kong and discussed with the students there. On July 25, the delegation visited Macao University of Science and Technology. Prof. Yi Zaicheng gave a lecture on the theme of “Convergence, Differences, and Cooperation of Intellectual Property Systems in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao Dawan District”. Teachers and students of SICIP had a heated and in-depth discussion on intellectual property issues with Prof. Yi Zaicheng.

Through this activity, teachers and students of SICIP had a deeper understanding of the intellectual property systems in Hong Kong and Macao, improving their intellectual property levels and broadening their horizons. Shortly, relevant universities would carry out more in-depth and comprehensive communication and cooperation in the fields of intellectual property teaching and scientific research.
