n October 28, 2019, the Organization Department of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Intellectual Property Administration jointly held a one-week training course on the construction of Guangdong a leading intellectual property power province in 2019 at SICIP of Tongji University. Mr. Zhang Zhicheng, the Director of Intellectual Property Protection Department of CNIPA, Mr. Mai Jiaomeng, the Director of Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation, Mr. Lei Xinghui, the Deputy President of Tongji University, Mr. He Jufeng, the Deputy Director of the Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation, Prof. Shan Xiaoguang, the Dean of the SICIP, and Prof. Song Xiaoting, the Chairman of College Council, SICIP, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome speech.

Supported by Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation (Guangdong intellectual Property Administration), co-organized by Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation Cadre Quality Education Center, organized by National Intellectual Property Training (Shanghai) Base and SICIP of Tongji University. The training content was closely related to the hot issues of intellectual property rights, famous experts and scholars from CNIPA, Intellectual Property Development& Research Center of CNIPA, SIPA, Shanghai High People's court, Tongji University, and other government departments, universities, and research institutions were invited to give lectures. About 80 people attended the training course, including leaders in charge of 21 prefecture-level and above municipal governments of Guangdong Province, heads of Municipal Intellectual Property Office, and relevant responsible comrades of member units of the Joint Meeting on the Implementation of Provincial Intellectual Property Strategy.
