2019 Forum on China-EU Innovation and Competition of Tongji University was held in SICIP

On October 19, 2019, 2019 Forum on China-EU Innovation and Competition of Tongji University was held at Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property. The theme of the forum is “Data, Intellectual Property, and Anti-Monopoly”. Scholars from universities and research institutions such as Max Plank Institute for Innovation and Competition, Humboldt University of Berlin, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, University of Zurich, Queen’s University Belfast, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Wuhan University, University of International Business and Economics, Shanghai Academy of Social Science, Tongji University, judges from the German Federal Patent Court, IP Court of the Supreme Court, Italian KEIS Law Firm, Beijing Dentons Law Offices, LLP, and Unitalent Law Office presented at the forum and delivered speeches. The teachers and students of Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property of Tongji University participated in the forum.


The forum was divided into five modules which are presided over respectively by Prof. Song Xiaoting, Prof. Liu Xiaohai, Prof. Shan Xiaoguang, Associate Prof. Cheng Deli, and Prof. Jiang Li of Tongji University. Prof. Yu Xinmiao of Tongji University gave a welcome speech on behalf of SICIP and put forward his personal thinking on "Data and Competition". Leading experts and scholars expressed their views and opinions on hot topics such as data, intellectual property, and anti-monopoly. The participants had diverse backgrounds and professions. All experts had an in-depth discussion and exchanged views on the theme with students and teachers from SICIP.
