On September 10, 2019, SICIP held the Meeting of "Ode to the Motherland with Youth" and Sharing Experiences of Studying Abroad/Outside Mainland China. Prof. Song Xiaoting, the Chairman of College Council, Deputy Prof. Jiang Nan, the Deputy Chairman of College Council, Ms. Lin Min, the Assistant of the Dean, Mr. Yang Xin, the Office Director, Ms. Han Yue, the Counsellor and representatives of teachers and students participated in the meeting. The meeting was presided by Ms. Lin Min. Teachers and students shared their experiences of studying abroad/outside mainland China and their feelings about the development of China. They all showed love for the motherland.

Deputy Prof. Zhang Huaiyin reported on the experience of visiting Saint Louis University from the aspects of the living environment, research status, and student development. He also described the current status and research progress of American legal education.


Tang Ruru, Guo Sijing and Li Pengyuan, representatives of the summer delegation to visit Hongkong and Macao, reported the academic and cultural communication. And Yang Dongsheng, Duan Lanxin and Li Jinyuan, representatives of the summer delegation to visit Taiwan, introduced the academic communication.


Chu Chu, representative of the first batch of interns to the World Intellectual Property Organization, reported her internship experience. Zuo Hepeng and Jin Lu, representatives of students who went to Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover for the "Double Degree Oslo-Hannover" Program, introduced their daily life, course study, and research progress.


After listening to the reports, Prof. Song Xiaoting affirmed the efforts and achievements of the teachers and students during studying abroad/outside or internship. He also encouraged the teachers and students to actively participate in international communication activities which could help to serve the motherland with their efforts.
