On August 30, 2019, Prof. Liu Chuntian, the President of China Intellectual Property Law Research Association and the Dean of Intellectual Property School of Renmin University of China. Prof. Guo He, the Vice President and Secretary-General of China Intellectual Property Law Research Association and the Vice President of Intellectual Property School of Renmin University of China, visited SICIP of Tongji University and gave academic lectures for professors and students of SICIP.

Prof. Shan Xiaoguang, Dean of SICIP, welcomed Prof. Liu Chuntian and Prof. Guo He on behalf of the SICIP, introduced the development of SICIP since its establishment, and discussed with Prof. Liu Chuntian and Prof. Guo He on its future planning. After the meeting, Prof. Liu Chuntian and Prof. Guo He jointly gave an academic lecture on the theoretical issues of intellectual property discipline to the teachers and students of SICIP. Prof. Song Xiaoting, the Chairman of College Council, SICIP, presided over the lecture and had a heated discussion with the two professors on the content of the lecture together with the professors and students attending the meeting.

Prof. Liu Chuntian and Prof. Guo He are well-known scholars in the field of intellectual property in China. The sincere and open communication between the two professors broadened our vision and deepened our thinking on the basic theory of intellectual property. More than 40 professors and students, including Prof. Zhu Xuezhong, Prof. Ni Shoubin, Prof. Ren Shengce, Associate Prof. Yu Xinmiao, and Associate Prof. Cheng Deli, attended the seminar.
