Teachers and students of SICIP went to universities in Taiwan to carry out intellectual property academic communication in summer vacation

From August 25 to 31, 2019, Deputy Prof. Jiang Nan, the Deputy Chairman of the College Council of the Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property, Mr. Han Xingchen, and 16 graduate students were invited to Chung Hua University, Feng Chia University and National Sun Yat-sen University for academic communication.


On August 26, 2019, teachers and students visited the Chung Hua University. Prof. Xie Hongnian, the Deputy President of Chung Hua University introduced the development history of the university and the deep friendship with Tongji University. Prof. Lai Yixuan from the School of Management of Chung Hua University brought a lecture entitled "The Latest Development of Patent Operation and Patent Evaluation" to the students.


On August 27, the delegation came to Feng Chia University. Mr. Gao Chengshu, the Chairman of Feng Chia University, welcomed the arrival of teachers and students from the Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property. He hoped that the students would become messengers of peaceful communication across the straits. Prof. She Rixin, the Dean of the School of Economics and Management of Feng Chia University, gave a lecture on the topic “Strategic Development Trend of Multinational Corporations' Intellectual Property Rights”.

On August 29, teachers and students came to visit National Sun Yat-sen University in Kaohsiung City. Prof. Xu Shijie, the EMBA President of National Sun Yat-sen University, gave a lecture entitled “Digital Innovation Strategy” to the students.


The event was hosted by the Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Intellectual Property Education Communication Research Center of Tongji University. It was also partially funded by Kaisa’s Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Intellectual Property Education Fund of Tongji University. Mr. Pan Huibin, the Director of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Intellectual Property Education Communication Research Center accompanied the delegation.
