On January 8, 2019, Mr. Zhang Benyong, Judge of the Shanghai High People's Court and the National third-level senior judge, came to the Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property to present the lecture of "Primary Legal Issues in Criminal Protection of Intellectual Property Rights".

Judge Mr. Zhang Benyong introduced the criminal protection of intellectual property rights from five aspects: the evolution of criminal provisions of intellectual property rights in China, the comparison of intellectual property crime legislation in China, German and America, the situation of criminal protection of intellectual property rights in Shanghai, and the main issues of intellectual property rights protection in China, the establishment of sentencing regulations on intellectual property crime, etc.
