On September 26, 2019, Prof. Ni Shoubin, member of the Specialist Committee on Financial Adjudication Theories of the China Law Science Adjudication Theory Research Association, Deputy Director of Shanghai Financial Law Society, participated in the trial of an insider trading case serving as a financial expert for the first time as people's assessors of the criminal cases. It is the first time to introduce a financial expert assessor system to securities-related criminal cases for the Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People's Court. This is also the first securities-related crime case of the financial experts jury after the implementation of the Law of the People's Republic of China on People's Assessors in April 2018.
