On April 17, 2020, the Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property of Tongji University and the Third Branch of the Shanghai People's Procuratorate signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Mr. Xu Yanping, the Prosecutor General of the Third Branch, Mr. Tan Xinyou, the Deputy Prosecutor General, Prof. Song Xiaoting, the Chairman of College Council, SICIP，Prof. Shan Xiaoguang, the Dean of SICIP attended the signing ceremony and delivered speeches.

The Third Branch of Shanghai People's Procuratorate is the first cross-administrative divisional procuratorate in China. It has a special intellectual property prosecution department, which is the only internal institution that integrates criminal, civil and administrative intellectual property prosecution work in all branch prosecutors. In recent years, it has handled many major intellectual property cases with nation-wide influence.

In the future, SICIP and the third branch of Shanghai People’s Procuratorate will carry out in-depth cooperation in areas such as base construction, scientific research, practical teaching and research, talent exchange, and incubation achievements. At the same time, Prof. Song Xiaoting, Prof. Shan Xiaoguang, and Prof. Zhu Xuezhong from SICIP were hired as special experts for international intellectual property protection, and they will provide intellectual support for intellectual property inspection.

The heads of the Third Branch, the Political Department, the Sixth Procuratorial Department and other professors of Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property Jiang Nan, Lin Min, Xie Yan, Jiang Li, Yang Hong, and Yang Xin attended the signing ceremony.
