On November 30th, Dr. Francis Gurry, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) of Tongji University, received a letter of appointment from Yang Xianjin, director of the Tongji University School Committee, and was appointed as the honor of Tongji University. Dr. Francis Gurry said that he was honored to be a member of Tongji University in China.

Wang Binying, Deputy Director General of WIPO, Sherif Saadallah, Executive Dean of the WIPO Intellectual Property academy, Chen Hongbing, Director of the WIPO China Office, Lv Guoliang, Deputy Director of WIPO China office, Omar Katbi, Protocol Coordinator of WIPO, Ms. Zhao Wen,Vice Mayor of Shanghai attended the appointment ceremony. The meeting was hosted by Jiang Bo, Vice President of Tongji University.
