On the December 18th, Prof. Dr. Thomas Ruefner and Prof. Dr. Schmidt-Doett visited Tongji Law School for evaluation of establishing permanent teaching chairs in law school. The conference was held in Room 404 of Chinese-German College building and the Director of economic law, Prof. Gao Xujun chaired the conference. Prof. Liu Xiaohai, Prof. Yu Xinmiao, Dr. Xie Yan and Dr. Yang Dake attended the conference. Prof.Gao Xujun briefly introduced the basic situation and future plan of Tongji Law School Two Professors inquired detailed information about the cultivation of students, the current situation of German study, the enrollment of students, the resource of professors and teachers and the situation about the double-degree program. And Chinese representatives patiently gave detailed answers of all the questions.

The following day, two professors met Chinese and German students. Six Chinese graduate students, Chen Qi, Xu Yiming, Yu Songyan, Wu Xuejing, Wu Jun and Wu Guide and five German graduate students, Christine, Lukas, Henri, Balduin and Duominik attended the meeting. They communicated about the study of law and language, the plan of taking internship, the future career plan and the situation of double-degree program. Students answered these questions and expressed their expectation of establishing permanent teaching chair in Tongji University.
