On November 21^st , 2016, Prof. Dr. Rene Pawlak from Humboldt Universitity of Berlin, invited by Tongji Law School, arrived in Tongji University and gave courses about German Law of obligation to postgraduate students from Tongji law school.

During the week-long course, Prof. Dr. Rene Pawlak analysed the overall framework of German law of obligation and helped the students further understand the relevant theory and application methods of German law with several cases. Through the course, the students’ legal knowledge of German law has been expanded and their ability to solve practical problems with the corresponding laws has been enhanced. The students gradually adapt to the teaching mode with German. And this lays a solid foundation for the future in-depth communication and exchanges activities.
