From October 19th to 20th, 2018, Professor Nari Lee of Hanken School of Economics in Finland gave lectures on the European Patent Convention, the European Integrated Patent System (including supplementary protection certificates and biotechnology inventions) and trade secret protection for the students of SICIP.

In the topic of trade secrets, students discussed the trade secret system under the guidance of professors, including the legislative purposes, and protection duration. Examples like perfume recipes and celebrities’ privacy were very close to life, inspired students to think deeply about how to protect potential own trade secrets.
