In order to strengthen the cooperation between SICIP and the Law School of Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany, and expand the academic communication between Chinese and German postgraduates in law, and enhance mutual understanding, our college and Humboldt University of Berlin jointly held the International Graduate Seminar on “New Technology and Law” in Berlin from November 8 to 10, 2018. More than 30 students and teachers attended the seminar.

The seminar was co-chaired by Professor Reinhard Singer and Professor Axel Metzger of Humboldt University of Berlin, and Associate Professor Xie Yan of Tongji University. Teachers and students of the two schools exchanged and discussed intellectual property legal issues related to new technologies such as artificial intelligence, deep links, and driverless cars.
