The Advanced Seminars on the Patent Commercialization in Chinese Collegesand Universities was Successfully Organized at SICIP

From September 18 to 20, 2019, the Advanced Seminars on the Patent Commercialization in Chinese Colleges and Universities was held successfully at SICIP. The Advanced Seminars were hosted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and organized by the National Intellectual Property Training (Shanghai) Base and SICIP.


The seminars invited leading IP experts as the lecturers, including Mr. Dalong Sun, the Head of Patent Quality Examination Department of the CNIPA, etc. This edition of the seminars was particularly focus on the knowledge related to patent commercialization for the teachers, researchers, doctoral students and related administrators of scientific research institutes in Chinese colleges and universities, also for the practitioners of patent application, management and commercialization in relevant industries. More than 80 people participated in the seminars.  


The main topics of the seminars included the Quality and Promotion Strategy of Patent Application in Scientific Research Institutions and Universities, the Disclosure and Management of Service Technical Achievements in Colleges and Universities, Policy and Practice on Transfer of Scientific and Technological Achievements in Colleges and Universities, and the Issues and Solutions to Common Questions in University Patent Application.

The Chairman of College Council at the SICIP Prof. Xiaoting Song and Vice Director of the National Intellectual Property Training (Shanghai) Base Associate Prof. Huaiyin Zhang welcomed the participants. At the end of the Advanced Seminars, it was provided a course certificate for all the participants by the National Intellectual Property Training (Shanghai) Base.
