In August 2011, SIPO approved the establishment of the “National Intellectual Property Strategy Implementation Research Base” (hereinafter referred to as the “Research Base”) at Tongji University. Since the establishment of the research base, the leaders of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Office and Tongji University have attached great importance to the construction of the base, carefully prepared, arranged, and implemented the intellectual property strategy of China.. All the work has been carried out smoothly, and gratifying achievements have been made in project research and personnel training.
