On November 5th, Prof. Dr. Reto Hilty, Director of Max Planck Institute forInnovation andCompetition, visited Shanghai International College of intellectual Property, Tongji University (SICIP).Prof. Zhu Xuezhong, vice Dean of the College, Prof. Liu Xiaohai, associate Prof.Yu Xinmiao, vice Dean of the College,associate Prof. Xie Yan, assistant Dean of the College, associate Prof. Yang Hong andDr.Chang Xuhua, assistant Dean of the College and Mr. Yang Xin,HeadofCollegeAdministration Office attended the meeting.
Dr.Yu Xinmiao made a brief introduction of SICIP,especially thecooperation with WIPO, Law Schools of GermanUniversities,internationalIP Mater Programs and academic achievements of the College.
Prof. Hilty expressed appreciation forinvitation andrecognition forthe current development of SICIP. A preliminary consensus around the scope of cooperation and forms of cooperation has been reached.
Professor Hilty also listened to the academicpresentations，which are made byrepresentatives of Masterstudents from SICIP, who havestudied in Humboldt University, Leibniz Hannover University or taken part in WIPO Program.Professor Hilty had guidance on the topics, provided inspiring comments and encouraged students to continue their research.
