This Master's Degree is offered jointly with the WIPO Academy and Tongji University (Shanghai, People's Republic of China). The program has a specialization in Design.

Maximum number of students

35-40 places are available for self-supported and financed students.

Tuition fee

The tuition fee is USD12,000 (80,000 RMB). Board, lodging, travel expenses, and personal expenses are not included.

Scholarships

20 scholarships (during full residential period) are available. WIPO provides 5 scholarships (including travel costs), the Chinese Government provides 15 scholarships (not including travel costs) with the coverage of travel costs financed by WIPO.

Applications

Applicants have to apply with Tongji University and for both WIPO and Chinese Government scholarships online.

Award

Successful students will be awarded Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property (MIP) with specialization in Design by Tongji University on behalf of WIPO.

Teachers

Classes are delivered by eminent academics from Tongji University, professors and visiting lecturers from other leading universities in Europe and Asia, and reputed experts from WIPO and the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China (SIPO).
